Hadleigh Baptist Church, Essex is situated in the heart of the local community, where it has been a Christian witness to the surrounding streets and roads since the church first opened it's doors in 1926 - that is 9 decades of witness.

We welcome people of all ages and from all walks of life and this is reflected particularly in the make up of our Sunday morning services. Families enjoy the whole service and their children are able to enjoy their own meeting called “Out the Back”.

Over the doors we have our mission statement - "Making Jesus known to all". This is central to all that we do here at Hadleigh and we believe that God will add to his church in the coming years as we endeavour to reach the community with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Mission Statement

Our Minister

Gave my life to Christ in 1992 at the age of 33, and after a period of ‘church searching’, I and my family who are also Christians, eventually settled at Earls Hall Baptist Church, Westcliff on Sea. In the years that followed I became heavily involved in the life of the church leading Housegroups, Alpha courses and outreach initiatives to our local community, and it was during this time that I sensed God’s calling into Christian Ministry.
